Garden Canopy

hat exactly is the purpose of a Garden Canopy? It is defined as structure to provide either permanent or seasonal shade from sun, or cover from the rain in your garden, backyard. I would like to briefly discuss the very specific niche of Garden Canopy for a variety of seasons, locations and permanency. If you visited a friend, or had driven by somewhere , or simply heard by word of mouth of “Garden Canopy” is something that will make your Garden or backyard complete — then this statement would be correct!

Throughout the Spring, Summer, and fall, I am sure that you’ll feel like you need relief from the sun; and depending where you live if summer is never long enough season the rain alone. You would say that it’s a Garden and why wouldn’t you expect to have plenty of sun, and how best to acquire a sun tan? Yes, all true but it’s quite important to take steps in order to create enough shade in your backyard ,patio or deck. Whenever you try to create a new outdoor living area, or even a hot spot for working out ; you need protection from the sun.

ELEGANT GAZEBOS

The Gazebos terms is quite broad. I’ll try and define it here, Canopy type are free standing in nature, they can have in rare cases an attachment type of awning to the garden wall, or another structure. They are always open, or least have access from all sides. These type of Gazebos provide the most basic of shelter, typically smaller in nature than their permanent “Gazebo” counterparts; shading is more the reason for its use but still can provide an Elegant and decorative look to your backyard.

TAILGATE CANOPY

A Tailgate Canopy is typically defined as one that is free standing , with nylon awning cover that provides protection from sun, and normally rain and even snow for those extreme fall football weather. Normally they are very specific to sports teams and are available in for the wide variety of football, baseball teams, and of course college teams to show off your fanaticism.

PORTABLE CANOPY

The Portable Canopy provides the easiest and sometimes the cheaper option if you looking to set-up a “pop-up Tent” type shelter, normally smaller. The do provide shade from the sun, wind and rain without needing to have a boy scout merit badge. Most are designed with the pop-up ease, or ‘EZ’ variety term that allow them to expand out when pulled. I would say a great recommendation for those needing the convenience factor.
